Purdue Computing Obituaries

Many people have contributed to the success of the computing discipline at Purdue. Numerous faculty, staff, and students worked In Computer Science, Engineering, the Computing Center, and other departments across campus. Numerous rsearchers and students used the computing facilities to conduct and complete their research and academic course work. 

To pay tribute to their contributions and to honor the life that they lived, the following obituaries have been collected to recognize people that were associated with the computing discipline at Purdue. 

Newton wrote, "If I have seen further it is by standing on the shoulders of giants."
